Treasurer's Report
We have an operating budget for 2021 of $367,752 which is an increase of 10% from 2019. This is largely due to utilities being increased by the city. Also rodent control has added to the yearly expenses. Also we need to save up to replace the roofs.
It was asked at this year's annual meeting how homeowners can help save money and here are some areas.
1. Conserve your water usage. Buy a low flow shower head. Make sure your toilet does not run continuously. Baths use a great deal of water.
2. Recycle as much as possible. It is less expensive to recycle vs using the compactor. Keep your trash as lite as possible as the trash we dispose is priced by the pound. Compact your recyclables. PDF Guide
3. Make sure that your pipes in your attic are fully insulated. Water damage from a broken attic pipe is very costly.
